I really admire this guy's work, as an actor and musician and he's really good looking to boot. It's just the weirdest thing, that when he's in drag he looks exactly like Courtney Cox.

I know right? It's been a long time since my jaded soul has cried over a movie, but that scene where he goes to see his dad for money had me bawling. His delivery was perfect and so was his expression. Oscar worthy performance....drag or not.
shareYes he was truly remarkable. If I didn't know going into this that was Jared Leto I would have had no clue who that was. He completely earned that Oscar.
shareI'm on the fence about Jared's performance. The part of the film starting from the moment that he goes to see his dad to when he dies, his acting was great. But in the rest of the film? His portrayal seemed almost like a caricature. It seemed like he was trying too hard to come off as effeminate and to make his voice sound lispy. Which is ironic considering that he looks androgynous in real life.
