is there really such a site where you can view your house or neighborhood from space? if so please post the site
easy, just go to google maps
of course it isnt live, but I can still see my house.

Download google earth. It's free and you can go anywhere in the world, it has 3D buildings, links, clear ariel images and you can even tilt/zoom the 3D terrain.
Streetlevel on googlemaps is good for getting on the ground but it only covers certain 'important' cities so far.
If you don't want to d/l then googlemaps will give you the basics but googleearth is way better.
