Flub/Goof help? Continuity error Possible spoiler

When Matthew Broderick's character tosses a snowball to take out the electricity his glasses are off, then when he is walking away and gets caught by his wife, his glasses are back on. Is this a goof/continuity error?

I think so. He tosses the glasses/googles in the manger when the camel spits on him. He also has no yellow spit on his face when he runs into his wife. He has the dirt and camel poo on him but not the yellow spit.
