Offensively awful...
From the characters to the writing, just dreadful.
Thew whole tone of the movie is just so bizarre. The way Mathew Broderick interacts with everybody, including his wife, is so unlikable & strange.
There's no one to root for.
Bad bad writing.
I thought Christmas With The Kranks was bad, but boy was I wrong. That mess is A Christmas Carol compared to this trash.
& to beat all, AMC has been showing Christmas Vacation a lot lately, a true classic that is finally getting the appreciation it deserves. & then I watch this garbage & it just begs the question, Hollywood, what went wrong?
