At the very end, if the house is now bright enough to be seen from outer space, shouldn't everyone standing around the house be blinded by the light (please, no Manfred Mann jokes)? I didn't exactly see anyone with Ray-bans on.

This was a horrible movie. Don't bother wondering about flaws in it.

lol omg everyone keeps thinking about the flaws in this movie. It was just a fun rated PG movie! It was for kids and family, of course there was some unaccurate things but lots of the movie these days have that. I believe this is one of the best movies for christmas to watch. I loved everything about it no complaining from me.

um yeah of course i have. ive seen all of them im a big fan and this movie is on my top 10 list. i just dont believe this movie was as bad as everyone is saying it was thats all. than again thats just my opinion.

This movie is not as bad as has been posted. I have seen plenty of worse Xmas movies, i.e., Prancer, Santa Clause, Xmas with the Cranks, Elf and a few dozen more. Deck the Halls is harmless fun with a good cast. It wasn't as funny as Xmas Vacation or A Xmas Story and some other classics. But it was pretty decent.

i thought this movie was fabulous and elf too and xmas with the kranks was not that bad. actually for me any xmas movie is great. i enjoy each one i see. i cant say that there was one which i could say was bad. all in their own way are unique.

This was a cute Christmas movie. Especially in these cynical times, sometimes we need a little lightheartedness! I kinda wish movies like this would be more popular, or make a big comeback, like during the 80s. You had a variety of movies you could choose from, especially family oriented movies!
