Madison should've dated a SEAL

As it is, Madison briefly dated some sailor from the Navy on leave which her dad, Steve Finch, objected to because according to him, "Madison couldn't date." Well as it is, Madison shouldn'tve just dated some sailor from the Navy, instead she should've dated a Navy SEAL. That way they could put Steve Finch in his place. When Steve Finch says Madison can't date, her Navy SEAL boyfriend could come and tear his head off his body, being a Navy SEAL and all he would have no problem doing that. And than, Steve Finch wouldn't be able to control whether or not Madison dates, not with his head torn off now will he? So thats the thing, if Madison dated a Navy SEAL, he could beat the hell out of Steve Finch whenever he tried to keep Madison from dating, so that way she would have it made.

1. navy SEALs know how to obey orders.

2. in this situation, madison's boyfriend would end up in jail for life and...

3. her dad would be dead. as much as she may have disliked her dad for not letting her date, i'm sure she didn't want him dead.

>>1. navy SEALs know how to obey orders.

Navy SEALS only obey orders from their commanding officers or from people of higher rank, they certainly don't take orders from civilians such as Steve Finch (Madison's Dad).

I said he would beat her dad up, not kill him. Although SEALS are of course trained to kill they also know how to use control and pull short of killing, this is important in some situations such as when they want to capture somebody alive for various reasons, such as extracting information. As it is, SEALS can pull short of killing, so the SEAL would only beat up Steve Finch and not kill him and usually a life sentence is only used in cases of murder.

As I said, he wouldn't kill her dad, he would pull short of killing.

1. madison's dad is a person of higher rank. if he wants to date her, he needs her father's permission. a SEAL wouldn't need to take orders from mr. finch except in cases that involve his property or people he is legally responsible for.

2. you said "her Navy SEAL boyfriend could come and tear his head off his body." when a person's head is no longer connected to their body, they die.

Madison's dad has no rank. There is no indication he has any military background. As for Mr. Finch's property, that would not be Madison. Shes his daughter not his property.

I was exaggerating.

"or people he is legally responsible for" aka: madison [and madison's little brother]

you still said kill. not injure.

Madison did date a sailor on leave. Although he was not a SEAL he nonetheless was in the Navy and probably knew how to, "take orders," yet he dated Madison anyway. There is no reason a SEAL wouldn't do anything different.

I was exaggerating when I mentioned killing. The SEAL could, however, beat the heck out of Steve Finch or commit acts of violence against him, which Steve would deserve for overstepping his bounds and sticking his nose where it doesn't belong and getting involved in stuff thats personal and private and none of his business.

reply

maybe he didn't know that she wasn't allowed to date.

if the SEAL beat steve up, he would then be in trouble with the law.

steve's daughter IS his business.

so, what do you think parents should do? allow their children to do whatever they want?

reply

We don't know about the sailor, about whether or not he knew Madison was allowed to date so we don't know if he would've gone along with it or not, but the fact of the matter is she did go with the sailor and there is no reason it would be different if it was a SEAL she was dating.

I never said parents should let their children do whatever they want, but especially with teenagers, there are limits as to how much parents can control their children. To see what I mean by limits, you should consider the points I make in the other post, instead of just assuming that Im trolling. There is a difference between what you believe is right, and the way things really are.

reply

i wasn't assuming. i was asking. huge difference.

reply

Madison is not Steve Finch's property Madison is Madison's property. The only person a SEAL, or anybody else who wanted to date Madison would need permission to date her from, is Madison.

reply

Whether or not you or me think that teenagers should be allowed to do whatever they want, the fact of the matter is teenagers WILL do whatever they want. At least with dating they will.

reply

1. A Navy Seal would be old enough that hooking up with Madison would be a crime if they had sex.
2. A Navy Seal would have to face criminal charges if he caused harm to Steve Finch, especially if it was to intimidate him into letting the Seal date an underage girl.
3. A Navy Seal would face serious issues and possible dishonorable discharge in the Military for such an act.
