I was thinking of blind buying this was well I liked the Kranks and havent seen Surviving Xmas(never will either) so I can only hope for the best my expecations are not to high though

I'd also would like to buy this. I really enjoy Xmas and Xmas movies. I really liked Kranks but yet to see Surviving Christmas. If I enjoy Kranks will I enjoy this?

Yeah, I mean I liked both so maybe you will, too! I like Surviving Christmas. I thought it was so funny and I really don't understand why everyone hated it. I thought it would've done well. But who knows!!

I also loved Surviving Christmas and dont understand why everyone hated it. I also love Hanson and don't understand why more people don't love them either.

Hanson is amazing, it's a shame that many people only know "Mmmbop", when they've written so many other great songs!!

Christmas with the Kranks was a total nightmare to me...hated it. I LOVED this movie though... I'm definately going to buy it. I also loved Surviving Christmas so you may not want to listen to me. lol

Surviving Christmas blows Christmas with the Kranks out of the water and is better than Deck the Halls. If you buy any of them, You should buy Surviving Christmas which I thought was very funny.

Surviving Christmas and Christmas with the kranks are two of the worst Christmas
films I have ever seen, Holiday in handcuffs and unaccompanied minors are horrendous movies.

I enjoyed this one, it's over the top, yes but it is hilarious watching DeVito and Broderick try and compete with each other, to be fair a lot of people are expecting some kind of Oscar winning performance from DeVito, and they need to relax a bit, if it is on TV or cheap on dvd then try it, I'm glad I did in Jan 2009, I now watch it every year (twice).

I think it's a little better than Surviving Christmas, and not quite as good as the Kranks (which I rather enjoy.) I'll give it a 5.5-6.
