Danny Devito's career never recovered after this, and of course his disastrous, drunken appearance on The View. Christmas movies have hurt more than one career, including Arnold Schwarzenegger in Jingle All the Way (followed by the equally abysmal Batman & Robin). Christmas With the Kranks did in both Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis. Best to leave Christmas comedies alone, unless they're for the kiddies (like the Santa Clause).
