Not sure why but I always laugh at that line.

he's rich, why not? , and he's a killer (perfect place to hide corpses or cremate them) , and of course people gotta pay to put people in there, so more money for him

Not sure if you noticed, but I was just quoting Mr. Smith asking why he owned a cemetery.

it did sound funny in a certain way although it did make perfect sense. first, since he's a serial killer, it's a perfect way to hide your crime if you want someone to disappear. second, he gets paid for it since owning a cemetery means real estate business.
