Imagine how that scene would have been without the techno music. Would've been awesome. Reminds me of the Se7en shootout which is one of my favorite movie gunfights.

Agreed. Ridiculous scene, did not fit in the rest of the movie.

It wasn't just that out of tone music either, it was the horrible aim of all parties involved while shooting in a regular sized hallway. The editing would've made that more believable as that aspect really got out of hand towards the end of that scene. So I blame directing, editing and the score for that cringeworthy segment in an otherwise fine movie.
