Loved it, but bothered by the following (Spoliers)

1. The scene where the Hangmen killer/Meeks grab Demi Moore in the van and wildly drive around was ridiculous. Why not knock her out? Shoot her? Drive like normal people and shut the damn sliding van door? That sh!t was ludicrous!!! So so messy. (Also the hall shoot out scene, but I have read on the other threads people already ridiculed this one to bits!)

2. Is Demi Moore the only cop in town? Seriously. Her boss says 3/4 of her cases are open/ongoing and seemingly high profile as they come. How could they think she can handle all that sh!t going on without any teams or solid partners?

3. The cops buying Mr Smith as the "thumbprint killer" before Mr Brooks calls Demi Moore. Wouldn't they look back at all the previous murders and leads and somehow Mr Smith never had an alibi or any other piece of evidence indicating this Joe Blow was not the actual 'thumbprint killer'?

4. Confusion over the daughter. Was she pregnant? Was she really a murderer? What happened to the BMW? Does she know her dad is a killer? How?!?!?!

Loved the scenes with Mr Brooks and Marshall, made the whole movie. Demi Moore & that comical looking Hangman "serial killer" looked like amateur in contrast.

I am surprised you loved this film, with all the messy flaws you listed. There are so many more flaws like why have the Hangman story line at all? And why keep telling the audience he has an addiction? Why not dig deep into his mind instead of being so surface?
How did Mr Smith all of a sudden enjoy planning an actual kill? He was just a neighbor and photographer and then overnight he has murderous tendencies?
The film SUCKED and it was so lame I feel bad that such good actors appeared in this ridiculous film.
