FINALLY got to watch this.

I've been wanting to for awhile, I could just never find it to rent it.

I liked it alright, but it wasn't as good as I expected.

I will say I was really glad when they finally came out with a Black/African-American Princess. I think it's good to have every ethnicity out there for all little girls to look up to and admire, you know?

The thing that bugged me, and this may sound odd, was that you hardly even got to see her as her, she was mainly a frog the whole film. I would've preferred seeing her as a human more than her as a frog.
The voodoo stuff was a bit creepy, and I'm not sure if I would want a young child watching that. I know it is a part of New Orleans, and this is just a cartoon, but it was even creeping me out and I'm 22 years old.

The story line was cute, though, and the Louisiana accents were really fun. I loved the firefly, I'm sad he died!

So, all in all, I gave this a 7 out of 10. It was good, but I think it could have been a lot better.

A couple of critics said the same. But... there would be no plot if she wasn't turned into a frog.

Frankly, I think she looked pretty as both a frog and a human. :)
