That you can't see Tiana is black on the main poster? She's just bathed in blue light.

Probably not. Tiana was made black on purpose because Disney was being criticized because all of the Disney princesses besides Mulan were white.

The blue probably just looked better than all of the other color schemes they could.have used.

She obviously still looks black. She has black features and you can clearly see her skin tone, despite being blue lit.
