OT: How'd ya guys like Frozen/think of Frozen?

LOOOVED it.

Idk it kinda had pacing issues and the songs seemed clumped together (as in a song right after another... basically like Les Miserables. Just kidding.) but I love the animation and Elsa and Anna and Han's dick and ahhhh it was lovely.

Agreed!

Yes, I was very into Les Miserables, which I knew from music class.

Han's dick lol??? Do you mean he WAS one, right?

I thought the (twist) not involving Hans, but the sisters, was amazing and epic--BUT:

everything before it was unremarkable and kinda meh. And like you guys mentioned, none of the songs were particularly memorable.

Lol, well, he did have large 'buldge' in the 'area' ifyouknowwhatimean. ;)

But throw a little love their way - you'll bring out their best

Loved it but PATF will always be my favorite...

Mixed feelings, like with PatF.

I think I overhyped it too much in my head. I was so excited to see a character like Elsa, because I felt like she would be a character I could really relate to. And I guess she is, but I was disappointed with the fact that the movie didn't showcase her too much..
Then I had gone ahead and read the picture books before I watched the movie. So I knew about the whole "true love" can be your family thing. And that made me even more excited, cause I had never seen that in a Disney movie before.

But then the way the movie turned out just ended up disappointing me. Mostly because it felt rushed, the lack of Elsa, and the fact I felt like Kristoff was kind of unnecessary (though I still like him).
Also, the music. The movie takes place in a Norwegian inspired setting.. I think they should've had more music that fits that theme. I mean, did like the music, but idk.

SO. mixed feelings. Because I actually do like all of the characters. Its just.. the way the story was executed was "meh" to me.

Unlike "Tangled", "Frozen" actually surpassed "The Princess and the Frog" and maybe even "The Rescuers" (which is saying a LOT, since "Rescuers" has been a top favorite of mine, since 2008-9). Elsa, in particular, was very sweet, beautiful and endearing (my favorite princess/queen/whatever) and I still feel a very emotional attachment to Elsa. For the record, I saw "Frozen" March 1, 2014 - ONE DAY BEFORE IT WON BOTH(!!!) ACADEMY AWARDS, including Elsa's epically beautiful and powerful "Let it Go"!!! :DDDDD

PS Elsa, much to my surprise, never ended up with a boyfriend/prince/king/husband/whatever (unlike her sister, Anna) which leaves the possibility that a sequel (planned by myself) could feature her falling for a Norwegian man named Yon (who represents myself and my love for Elsa). Maybe Yon could have a polar bear sidekick (aren't there polar bears in Norway...?) and ultimately rescue Elsa from Jack Frost (NOT the one seen in "Rise of the Guardians", though, gotcha, didn't I???)
