GIANT GAPING PLOT HOLE???

When Tiana kissed (Frog) Naveen the first time, she turned into a frog because she wasn't a princess. So, why didn't Charlotte turn into a frog after kissing (Frog) Naveen? Naveen didn't turn human after she kissed him because she took too long and the clock struck midnight, marking her reign as Marti Gras Princess over. In other words, when Charlotte kissed Naveen, she was no longer a princess either. So WHY ON EARTH didn't she turn into a frog as well? Is there something I'm missing or is this just a gaping plot hole no one ever seemed to notice?

Big Daddy was king of Mardi Gras, so that made her a princess. Sort of. But not princess ENOUGH.

She was technically a princess. She just couldn't turn Naveen into a frog because the clock had just struck midnight when she kissed him. (Either that or she wasn't the right princess for him or whatever, i think the film purposely left that ambiguous).
