Why on earth didn't they release this for thanksgiving ? Releasing almost mid December was huge mistake and almost self sabotage.

Yes that movie. PATF would have been murdered far worse by Twilight.
In fact it still hurt the film. All the women and girls that was suppose to be watching this movie went to see Twilight for the 10th time instead. While Chipmunks took the little children. People say Avatar hurt the film but I disagree. Avatar was an action adventure film for Men and Teenage boys. Those guys were never going to watch TPATF unless they had a date or took their kids to watch it.
