is it just me or does Charlotte remind you of Celia Foote (played by Jessica Chastain) from
The Help (2011) ??

I don't see it. Charlotte seemed guy crazy and wanting to marry a prince. The only thing that I think that they have in common besides being blonde southern belles is that they were both good friends.

I meant her excitement around people. When Charlotte was informing Tiana of Prince Naveen's visit she was really bubbly and excited. When Celia first met Minny she reacted the same. Plus the contribution of the same hairstyle and bright clothes.

I agree. But Charlotte was wealthy and Celia was poor. It might have made sense if they had made Celia a rich society girl too.

Johnny inherited a large house with land along with Celia. Her clothes and car also prove that she wasn't poor which therefore counts as another similarity :)

Perhaps, but Charlotte, as adorable as she is, was born with a silver spoon. She was spoiled from birth, whereas I believe Celia grew up in quite poor circumstances.
