You have to be handsome...

To get away with not actually having conversation with a woman and for her to fall for you.

If I just stared at woman whom was initial interested in me she would be put off. Put off to the point of probably thinking I was cognitively challenged or a rapist.

I get it, it's a movie and the scenes were trying to convey some mood or emotion. A little writing could have made Irene's and the Driver's relationship filled out.

The idea of guy meets girl and in very little time is love to the point of taking on the risk of helping her ex con baby dady took me out of the movie.

Just my opinion though.

or hung like a horse. that's how I get my ladies without saying much

reply

Hahaha so that's were I have been going wrong. Operation Sock in Pants is a go.

reply

And how would they know you're hung like a horse unless you already had them hooked before? Do you just whip it out in the pub or something?

reply

You could, but I was thinking like about buying a paie of those skin tight sweats that are made to look like jeans and that way the sock cock would be clearly visible.

reply

You're a *beep* genius.

reply

you made a valid point.
I was also put off by it because I tend to be put off very easily by what I consider sexism and in drive it is flatant. the female character lacks personality, seems to have no other purpose than to be the girl of the man.
i am sick to death of this archtype woman, and it is a pity they did not give her a personality because the movie could have been great

The movie is good; just wasn't your kind of film that's all. Having the Driver as a quiet, strong type is mostly based off the traditional masculine roles of say Clint Eastwood and John Wayne. It's sort of a throwback to those times set in a modern day thriller.
