I've been looking over the criterion collection as of late and it comes to my attention DRIVE would be a perfect candidate. It's vastly under-seen and appreciated and has a huge fan-base that would benefit greatly from it. Also it's previous DVD seemed a bit just thrown together for my tastes. I'm wondering anybody else feel how I feel? I'd personally love to see this bad boy get the big C!

Haha when you put it like that I guess it's really not that under-seen! It's probably wishful thinking but Iike you I love Drive and would love to see it the deluxe treatment somehow one day. Btw how come you think it wouldn't fit into criterion?
I think it would fit in just fine, I was speaking more realistically about the likelihood of it getting a Criterion release, which I think is slim to none. Now, it would be cool for them to release earlier, truly under-seen Refn films. A box set from them on Blu-ray with the Pusher trilogy, for example.

shareIf the trash barrel epic cheese-fest Armageddon can get a Criterion release.....this should definitely get the CC treatment. After all, Drive is a perfect film.
