Modern Films with an 80s Feel To Them

Are there any other modern films with a soundtrack reminiscent of the 80s? The only two I can think of right now are Drive and the Maniac remake both of which I love.

Also on a similar note, if any body can of think of films that have strong beautiful and vibrant colors like Refn's Only God Forgives could you recommend those to me as well?

Thanks for any help.

Sofia Coppola has 80s music in some of her films, e.g. Lost in Translation.

"Hobo with a shotgun" stands out massively

Funny coincidence... I thought of this film immediately as well, but not for the music. It popped into my mind 'cuz the OP asked for films with "beautiful, strong & vibrant colors." I haven't seen Lost In Translation for a while, but I seem to remember that there were at least a few scenes w/ some brilliant color and photography. Cheers...

The Firm (2009 remake of an 80's movie) and The Business (2005). Both based in the eighties with lots of 80's music.

I'll definitely check them out then. I didn't even know they remade The Firm which I have recently added to my favorites.

The remake of Maniac had an '80s synth-style score, and so did the second Tron movie.

Two that immediately come to mind are American Psycho and Hot Tub Time Machine.

"Cold In July" starring Michael C. Hall, Sam Shepard, Don Johnson.
The film and the music (80's synth) is inspired by John Carpenter, in the best way possible. One of the best films of 2014.
