The Frog and the Scorpion

This movie had a central theme around the fable of the Frog and the Scorpion. Not only is it mentioned after Driver gives Ron Pearlman his final bath, but it is also the reason he's got a golden scorpion on the back of his jacket for the length of the movie. It was a constant conflict of the character, as at times he was bearing the scorpion like the frog did, and at other times he was more like the scorpion itself.

Anyway. The only other movie that I can think of that deals with the fable is THE CRYING GAME, where it not only explains the main character, but is done so twice in the movie, once by Jody in the beginning, and then by Fergus at the end.

I know there has to be more out there, and I love the fable and the stories created around it. Are there more that you guys know of?
