It was currently on the nicktoons network,this is a channel you have to pay extra for on direcTV,I don't know about the dish network.Not many people are going to pay that much just to watch one show.If it were on disney xd or catoon network it probably would not have gotten canceled.Disney should put the show where it belongs,on XD.
shareNickToons wasn't the problem though. Spectacular Spider-Man's second season was on Disney XD and that didn't really help it because once Sony was done with and Marvel got the rights, the show couldn't continue.
While NickToons may not be in every home, they did a great job with the series. They promoted the heck out of it and aired it as much as possible, and it was paying off for them. Things fell through with Marvel's co-financier for the series which is why it was canceled. If it was up to NickToons, the show probably would have gotten 4 or 5 seasons.
Yeah, it really wasn't about the network, it was financial situations that went far beyond the network.
Funny, Justice League often got jerked around by Cartoon Network and somehow lasted 4-5 seasons, W&TXM got promoted like crazy, got consistently good ratings and ends up being a flash in the pan.
Oh well, we've got Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes now.
