a) Did Emma Frost always have that power to turn into a diamond or was that only for the last few episodes? Seems like a good power but you hardly see her use it.
b) She's a real bitch and I wanted more of that to come through.
c) In the new movie does the actress have the same kind of costume?
I don't read the comics so my knowledge about the Marvel characters only come from what I occasionally stumble upon online. (a) From what I understand, Emma Frost can't use her telepathy while in diamond form. I think it's obvious that she prefers her telepathic abilities more than her diamond form. (b) I agree. She's not a very popular character in MY book, but I really liked her in this. I wish we saw more of her bitchiness. She was very entertaining. (c) She doesn't have the same costume in X-Men: First Class, but it's similar in a way. She doesn't have the English accent in the movie, though, and I found her a bit boring even though she played a semi-major role.
shareShe always had her Diamond form power. They introduce it in episode 4 when Storm is possessed by the Shadow King and is raining down big pieces of hail at the X-men. She uses it from time to time but not very often (to deflect Arch Angel's feathers, to fight a sentinel, etc).

in the show, yes, but in the books, no, she didn't. Emma later received what was known as a secondary mutation, a different power or enhancement of a current power. not a lot of mutants get them. that was her ability to take on the diamond form. she was originally only a telepath. most current versions of her character though portray her with the diamond form.
