One of the companies involved with the show folded and Disney apparently didn't feel like picking up the tab as it would have required cutting through too much legal red tape. It's been almost three years and it doesn't look like the show's getting reincarnated any time soon.
and its one of the biggest let downs in history...You end the series with a hint at the Age of Apocalypse, then cut it....Ridiculous..Feels like blue balls.
Sadly no there wont be for inorder to get them made Disney/Marvel has to sign on but because they're are currently in a blood feud between 20th Century Fox who refuses to give them back the X-Men and Fantastic Four rights Marvel/Disney will only make cartoons about characters they own the rights to. What your looking is most likely the last X-Men cartoon for a long time

Yeah, I noticed.
Which makes it even more of a shame that W&TXM ended up as lame as it was.

This is BS. I didn't recognize this show while it was on TV but have caught up on DVD and am pissed how it was left. This was almost better than the 90's X-men I watched in middle school. I always hated the over-exposure Wolverine got, but with Cyclops becoming an alcoholic it worked. Please bring this back.
they really never seem to learn. i mean, Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes also got canceled and before that one Spectacular Spider-Man. All good Marvel cartoons that get replaced by terrible ones like Ultimate Spider-Man or just nothing. They're only making it harder for themselves by making up new shows instead of continuing the old ones they already had >____>.
guess i'll never understand what those producers and whatnot are thinking....
I was upset that this show was cancelled also, especially since they were planning on adding more X-Men characters in the next season. I also wanted to see what they would have done with the Age of Apocalypse storyline.

Not to be a personal attack on you Dragonsonic, but it's hard to be excited about the prospect of more X-Men characters when the first season barely did anything to flesh out the X-Men who were meant to be the core roster.
That's alright. I agree that the first season didn't do much justice to the other X-Men characters and I was hoping that the second season would have smooth that out a bit, but I guess with a title like "Wolverine and the X-Men," it might be hard to do.
When that series ended I REALLY waited for Wolverine & The X-Men season 2. It doesn't look like it will happen. Maybe a full length Marvel Animated film. I could easily see the Age Of Apocalypse storyline being up there with Dr. Strange as the best Marvel Animated film ever.
I'm just reading the Wolverine and the X-men comics now QQ even though they are not a continuation of the cartoon series it's the only thing that helps me recover from the series being cut =(
The Age of Apocalypse storyline, in cartoon form, especially done by the same team that did Wolverine and the X-Men, would've been the absolute greatest animated achievement of all time.... Yes, I said it.
I like the comment "if someone has a million dollars laying around"... I literally thought that exact same thing, but then I bought a restaurant instead... sorry!!!! Maybe for my next million.......
Everybody wants this show and Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes back. Both great shows, both produced by the same guy. Sadly, neither will probably return ever.
I really love this series as it shows how each character can be relivant to the team.
Another season would be very welcome here.

Comic series just don't get the respect they deserve sometimes. I mean, Young Justice is getting canceled, and looks how awesome it is! I'm not a big fan of Wolverine being in charge of the X-men, but the show as I've see on it so far is great, I guess this always happens with great shows.
