Is there any hope for season two?

I know it's been almost four years since this show was cancelled, but I'd like to hope for a second season. We so deserve it after the cliffhanger they gave us. They had Jean Grey back for crying out loud! I do hope that Emma Frost somehow returned too. I read something about plans they had, but I'm not sure what was to really go down. This show needs to come back, if only for just one more season. The only reason it was cancelled dealt with finances not poor ratings, so I don't understand why they can just do it already. Surely they can make it happen given that so many of us still want it even after all of this time. I hope that it's possible because I'm actually still mad about this, along with a lot of us fans. Even sad, if may say so. I know it's crazy since it's just a animated show, but it was so awesome. Anyway, I'll cross my fingers and keep hoping.
