In the trailiers that I have seen for this movie, the scene that was emphasized and repeated over and over was the part at the resturant where Rock says that he would not let Jackson watch his kids on television. This had nothing to do with the plot. I guess the film makers thought that these few seconds of a black male bashing another would draw more audiences to the film or as a way to take another swipe at Jackson and focus on black in-fighting.
whatever...... just remember MJ for his talent and i bet he has enough of it to overcome all his mistakes......i just fear that whether i will ever be seeing more of his jaw dropping moves on live shows...........
btw what can you do if molesting child is in ur nature............there are lotta taboo out there that are still practiced but some people get caught because it will bring fame to a lotta others and some don't get caught.

I don't really remember seeing that scene on the previews but I saw it in the movie and in no way does this scene promote in-fighting among Black people. Mainly because Michael Jackson is no longer a Black man. I don't care how ignorant that sounds. MJ is no longer Black. Calling him a man is questionable as well. Even if I bought the Vitiligo story, there's no excuse for that nose (or lack thereof).
Anyway, I might buy the OP's theory if there were previews of Chris Rock bashing, oh say, Michael Vick. That might fall into the Black male in-fighting category. Michael Jackson.....it's way too hard to say what category he falls in.
There are a lot of inside jokes in this film that black people may get better than others. The point isn't any particular feelings about MJ for or against. The joke is that black people LOVE to debate over MJ because there is so much love/hate for him. I didn't find the dinner scene very funny but I must say that all the conversation topics are indeed true topics of choice.
"WHO'S ON TOP & WHO'S ON BOTTOM NOW, huh?! WHO'S ON TOP & WHO'S ON BOTTOM NOW!"
I wonder why MJ chose Chris Rock to star with him on the You Rock My World video (and even the song on his CD), if he keeps bashing him on films and TV.
That was Chris TUCKER in the 'You Rock My World' video. Now I'd like to make some snide comment here about white people thinking all black people look the same, but it's not really necessary. So I'll just shut up now :-)
