It is not this question I feel offended about. It is the the statement that follows it: " Dont get offended!" Like a white woman is something to be ashamed of. And a real black woman to me is a strong woman who is goal oriented, I know many of those and they did come out of the ghetto and chose to make the best of their lives. They are the real black women!

"White people tend to be more civilized"? What kind of stupid,racist, bull**** statement is that? That is not even true, and you know it. As a black person, I find that VERY ignorant and offensive. I don't even know how the hell you can make that stupid claim when all you have to do is turn on the news and every day you hear about white folks shooting each other over some bull****, or shooting up malls and schools whenever they have some damn issue, or a white husband offed his wife and kids, or offed someone else over something. White people do NOT have a claim on being so-called civilized, and black people do NOT have a claim on acting what we call "ghetto". So get off that bull****,please. And white people have conflicts and issues with each other all the damn time--don't know what makes you think they don't---y'all ain't perfect and never will be.

Try being a white husband sometime. None of my white friends notice or care that I'm married to a black woman, but anytime I meet one of her business associates or friends that is black, they stare at me like I'm a freakin' Martian. It's much more acceptable for a black man to be married to a white woman today than the reverse. Don't believe me? When was the last time you remember seeing such a relationship on the big or small screen after Monster's Ball took so much flak?
shareI don't see anything wrong with having a white wife or girlfriend. I'm black and I've gotten asked whether I was dating a white woman and have even been told that I look like the type who dates white women. That question is usually meant as an insult, especially if a sista asks it. Usually she'll come back with "you must not love your mother" or "you can't handle a strong black woman." I have dated white women before before and I like it! They weren't weak at all. I think people ask me that question because I don't fit that thuggish black male stereotype. But I'll date a woman of any race as long as we have that connection.
