Seriously, has anyone ever seen him act this badly? His performance in flipper seems oscar worthy in comparison. What was he doing? I thought it was particularly obvious near the start of the film, the first time we seem him at the psychiatrists. It was like he was just practice reading the lines for the first time.
shareyup. in the end of the trailer for this film when Elijah says "peace", he's not even acting. He is just saying the word "peace" with no emotion or feeling. It's like someone just told him to say the word for no reason at all. anyone with me on this?

He's not that great an actor. And the casting is stereotyped as always in Hollywood.

Yeah his acting wasn't the best I admit. But I think him being unemotional at the end was intentional. After all, he was on those drugs, and they were designed to make him feel better. What better way is there to feel better than to not feel anything at all?
