Missed the last 30 minutes
What happened? Movie was pretty good up to that point.
Last part I saw was when Elijah Wood was getting beat up for going to a hooker or something.
Elijah's character committed suicide by jumping off the roof of his apartment building the night before the Saturday he was supposed to leave for the draft. And Chris Klein's character's father came through with helping him dodge the draft (via a Senator the father had connections with) but I think Chris' character decides to go anyway. The last scene in the film shows the cab driver buddy leaving a cafe on the morning of the draft and across the street (in front of Penn Station) is Chris' character with packed bags. No words were said bewteen the two as they stood across the street from one another. They just smiled at one another.
