does anyone know how i can find out if it will play in my area and when?

The above site can pretty much give you the info...you plug in either your zip code or your city/state abbreviation and the date you are interested in seeing the film, and it will provide a list (scroll down a bit) of the nearest theaters that are currently playing it or will be playing it on the upcoming Friday/following week. I already plugged in Salt Lake City, UT, and it doesn't currently show any theaters near you for this Friday; however, the database appears to be continuously updated between Tuesday and Friday, and so more theaters should be added between now and Friday, so you should check back on it. It's not in a city near me right now, either.

thanx for the help, i know fandango and hollywood.com have this feature but i dont like hollywood anymore, stupid ads all the time, and fandano even though it has this feature only lists the current day.
i really wanna see the movie, i heard about it on PBS on the Charlie Rose show, he interviewed Norah.
Hmmm...it's still not playing near you this weekend. Me either. But I did call the theater that usually shows art films in my city, and they told me that they would have it in May...so I'm having to be patient.
I'll have to go to the Charlie Rose site and check out that interview with Norah. I didn't know he interviewed her. I really like Charlie's interviews, and I love Norah's music.

well it came out for only 1 week last may, it was here the starting may 16th. and i saw it on the 17th, it was a really good movie, and i cant see why everyone is complaining, i just loved it, i guess im a sucker for a good romance and drama.
