They had amazing actors in this film, but the movie just plain sucked. I love the lighting in this movie but you have to watch it at night because it is important so you can see the film. not like you would want to anyway! I rented this movie because it had jude law and Natlie Portman! It sounds like a great movie already. the problem is, is that it sucks!

I saw this movie also because of Law and Portman.
I think it could've been different if they put Portman as Elizabeth.
I know, right! What was up with the hair style though! It looked terrible!

This film WAS considerably boring for the first 36 minutes. I'll admit I almost quit watching at that point. It became more interesting to me as soon as Natalie Portman's character entered. I do believe it's the kind of movie you have to watch all the way through even though there are slow spots and then think about what it's message is and what it meant to you.
