Nora Jones, NOT a strong actor
I think in more capeable hands this could have been a better film.
shareI think in more capeable hands this could have been a better film.
shareEasily. She is on screen for almost the whole film. But all she does is look dazed a lot. A great actress performance could have elevated this film because it the other supporting characters were all fairly good. Just look at how "Monster" was elevated from forgettable trash to interesting spectacle merely by Theron's performance.
shareShe did look like a deer caught in headlights for most of the film. However, the blame for this turkey lies primarily with the slow-motion-loving hack director. Looking dazed and having only one facial expression never hurt Keanu Reeves.
shareSo maybe the movie would be better with Keanu playing Elizabeth...
I don't think Norah Jones was that bad. Not quite strong enough to carry the film, but not bad.

Yea I agree..Jones just does not know how to act, she isn't an actress, she's a singer!! I have no idea why she was stuck in the middle when the supporting cast was much better than average.

Well for a first film, she did quite well.
Also, anyone next to Jude Law is going to seem "NOT a strong actor"
Her facial expressions are good, needs to work on the voice though.
I could see her becoming a better actress.
There are approximately and exactly 21 hours of LOST remaining . . .
