I was really turned off by the first 20 minutes or so of this movie. It seemed like it was all going so fast, and there was no time for the relationship between Jude and Norah to really blossom.
But as it got going, into Memphis, and especially Arizona/ Las Vegas, the story was given so much more time to breathe and really develop.
Overall, I enjoyed the film, and this is probably my one complaint about it.
Darn, I deleted it off the DVR after about 20 minutes, as I just could not get into it! Wish I had not now.

I agree...at first I was thinking "Man, this is going to be a waste of two good hours." It was wierdly paced and I kept thining "Norah Jones is not that great of an actress!"
But she and the movie picked up when she left NY. It was like we were traveling with her and witnessing these other people's lives through her eyes.
