Yeah, random as hell, but I'm gonna have to buy it on DVD. I'm a huge Kevin Smith fan, and, well, he's in it. Can't he be in some new, GOOD animated movie that I would actually like to buy?

"'Bout the biggest pair you ever seen, dingleberry."

reply

Why the hell is Kevin Smith in this?

reply

Why is Kevin Smith in this? Because he sucks and he loves money.

Truest thing I ever read on here!

I'm surprised God hasn't striken you down. I mean, she's a big fan of Dogma. Oh well. Wait for it...

yeah, I chatted to Her yesterday and She was all, "Yeah well, Jersey Girl was fun but maybe not my favourite since Kevin didn't get me very much space in it. None in the flesh. I talked to him about it, but he said Dogma was it,no more "as myself" for me. And I respect his desition. I am not a vengeful god.
Now he's dubbing this new movie called...em..schmoogal,foogal or somethin"

;)

It's to make up for the *beep* storyline and animation.

ITS A JIP...they just redubbed an english movie called THE MAGIC ROUNDABOUT and recast the voices with 'name' stars. The original had Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue in it and was released in the uk last year.
Joanna Lumley was MUCH better voice for the snail than Whoopie Goldberg.

Whoopi played a cow

And Michael J. Fox, Annette Bening, Martin Short, Rod Steiger and Jim Brown (and some others I'm sure I'm forgetting).

reply

Not too random, there are alot of SNL players in the cast.

reply

Not too random. They're all professional actors/comedians. Now if the cast would have contained a truck driver, a lawyer, a kindergarten teacher, and a dentist, then that would probably be the most random cast ever.

reply

though to be honest, that cast would have probably made the movie better

reply

It was definitely a once in a lifetime cast, but I think they all did a great job.

I'm a PBS mind in an MTV world....
