TO ALL WHO READ THIS...

do you morons have a life? if so, please continue with it and stop commenting about the freakin' "cinametography" and "animation" and blah dee blah about the movie aobut a cartoon dog...no ones gives a camel's ass! ITS A KIDS MOVIE therefore if the age range is about 4 year olds to 7 year olds, then people of the age of 45 need to STOP COMMENTING and GET A LIFE!! THE MOVIE WAS NOT MADE FOR YOU NOR YOUR ENJOYMENT...THEREFORE you have absolutly no reason in hell to have an opinion. If your toddlers did not enjoy it, then go get them, sit them on your lap and hold there fingers over the heyboard to make them type words of hatred for this kiddie animated film that you so loathe (by the way if you do this you are so sad i ought to throw you down a well). Furthermore, i am not between the ages of 4-7 but rather 15 and i enjoyed the film with my friend while we were drunk/high whatever it may have been, and found it HYSTERICAL...most likely due to jokes far beyond your realm of comprehension, no i do not refer to the farting moose...though i did slightly enjoy that...but jesus christ everyone who says this movie sucked,(unless its ur job to say so), no one really cares to hear your idea about a childs movie so now you may continue on and comment about every other movie not made for your age range..."omgg hoddwinked was crap...eww not a good year for the makers of kiddie films"...well the makers are sorry it did not compare to walk the line or brokeback mountain, very very sorry...peace out loser bitches

Oh please. Yes it's a kid's movie, but do we have to hear you rant on and on about it? Sheesh, you're as worse as the people who said they hated it.

By your logic, you don't have the right to love this film, since you are not a child (I am assuming) and therefore the movie was not made for you.

I understood all of the jokes I heard were in the movie. They just plain weren't funny to me.

I'm curious as to why you think that adults aren't allowed to have opinions on kids' movies. Now, young children can't walk to the theater by themselves, can they? No. They usually are accompanied by an adult. And THAT adult who ACCOMPANIES that child has a RIGHT to express their opinion on the MOVIE they saw, REGARDLESS of its target demographic!

The adult pays for the child to see the movie, if the adult doesn't like the movie but the child does, then it was money well spent. If neither like the movie, it wasn't. If the adult goes alone and likes the movie, awesome. If not, damn. But if the child pays for the adult and the child doesn't like the movie but the adult does, wait what was I talking about again?

I understand that if the child liked it, it was money well spent. I'm just saying that the adult has a right to express their opinion on that movie.

You're right! There's tons of movies my kids like that I don't care for. I have every right to have an opinion and so does anybody else.

Can i just say that all people who slate this movie are probably americans who are just miffed cause the fab (or so they think) Jim carey is'nt in it!! Americans have no sense of humour whatsoever or if they do its so over the top it makes you want to be sick Or youve heard it a million times. maybe instead of talking throughout the film you should shut up or even stop eating your bucket of popcorn and listen to it, and then maybe you would get the humour, mind i am talking to people that only thought the moose was the only funny bit in it.

That is why the UK version did so much better. I've seen both, and the jokes in each are similar (Doogal having to do with American culture and The Magic Roundabout with British culture). But it kinda seems like American audiences sit there and are like,"I dare you to make me laugh." And if people went into this movie ready to be entertained and ready to laugh or be silly, maybe it would have worked better. who knows.

my 5 year old loved it, that is all that matters, it wins in my book.
