Plot holes

This was a dreadful movie. My undisciminating 4 year old did not care for it either, saying it was boring and she loves crap like That's So Raven and the Emperor's New School.

I cannot understand why Zebedee didn't just go with the rest of the crew to search for the diamonds. He instantly appeared whenever they called for him, only to then "die." What was he doing during this time, eating cheese curls? Also, he put the diamonds in the hiding places so why didn't he tell them as they were leaving that one of the diamond was in the toy soldier? That was a critical piece of information that would have made the journey marginally better.

All in all, a rather lame movie.
