Covering Up a Plot Hole?

In the jungle temple, after sending Zeebad and Sam down the trap door, Doogal et. al find a crude pictograph on the wall that shows the carousel with a diamond glowing over it. This is how they figure out where the last diamond is. However, I just watched 'The Magic Roundabout,' and that clip is NOT in there. Was the pictograph made specifically for 'Doogal' to try to cover up that the American script-writers took out Zebedee's dialogue at the beginning of the movie about the third diamond being on the carousel?

Thanks for pointing this out - I have a TMR website and I'm trying to keep track of all the linear differences between the two films. I had missed this one entirely. (What I really need are scripts/transcripts for both films, even if I have to make them myself). Anyways, well...both things (taking out Zebedee revealing that the diamond is in the roundabout *and* them seeing that pictograph) are directly related, so apparently making those changes were part of some kind of conscious decision. I really don't know why exactly they decided that the audience shouldn't know that the diamond was in the roundabout until the temple scene though. But then I don't know why they did lots of things..such as making Doogal in the first place, lol. ;)
