I just rented this movie today and I shut it off after watching it for 15 minutes ( I fast forwarded most of the movie). What the hell is Zeebad supposed to be anyway? I hate how he moves around on a spring and not legs. Did the animators get lazy or something? To me, Zeebad looks like an evil JacK IN the Box.

from what i understand, he (well, zebedee anyway)is supposed to be appealing to small children and that's why he has the appearance of a jack in the box. you gotta understand, these characters have been around since the 60s, who know's what they were thinking back then.

You've got to know a movie is going to be bad when one of the voice actors from it can't even think of anything good to say about it on his show.
jon stewart ruined the movie. not on purpose, just bad casting. jon stewart also said he didn't know this already was a movie released in the uk with different voice talent. i think he was the only one. kinda shows how much effort he put into the role.
shareGood question. Probably some freakish...spring...thing. When I first saw this movie (I don't know how long ago- I remembered so little) I looked at that guy like "WTF?" and if I saw it again(not likely) I would definitely scream that at the top of my lungs.
The only thing cuter than WALL*E is my puppy. :)
