Why'd they even bother? They are chopping pieces here and there of this movie to make the time constraints I guess. But they are chopping funny lines. Irritating.

shareIt's not only chopped to pieces, it's in pan & scan, not widescreen. This is the first thing I've watched on TBS since they stopped showing the other Barrymores, and I've just put in a request to the NYPL for the dvd. The best I can say for TBS is it gave me enough of a taste to think I'd like to see the REAL movie.
shareAgree *totally* - I have the DVD and I started missing little bits here and there when TBS showed it. Nothing critical (with the possible exception of her sister telling her, "I think it's when they do something exceptional" after he so gamely took up for her at the restaurant). I can't imagine the cuts made up that much time.
shareAll TV stations do it, its nothing new.. they say edited to fit time frame, dont get butt hurt
