Christopher McCandless made history and will be remembered. Goal achieved.
What have you done with your life?
shareWhat have you done with your life?
shareI'd rather be comfortable in obscurity than famous for starving to death in a rusty bus, thanks. The guy was an idiot who wasted his life. If you think that is a worthy goal, you are either very immature or a fool.
share...asked the constantly shitposting troll...
share> Christopher McCandless made history and will be remembered. Goal achieved.
Yeah, he'll be remembered -- for being an idiot. Some goal.
Same as Trump.
share> Same as Trump.
I'm pushing sixty years old, so I remember quite a bit. Donald Trump has been a public figure for a long time. And I can't recall anyone ever suggesting that he's stupid, until he got into politics. Before that he was regarded as an astute businessman who created and manipulated publicity for his own purposes and enjoyed doing it.
An example. About twenty-five years ago, Trump got into some deal with Merv Griffin. The same Merv Griffin who started off as an entertainer and built a financial empire. Television producer, real estate mogul, and a few other things I can't recall at the moment. He was worth hundreds of millions of dollars. The man was an experienced businessman and certainly no fool. And the mainstream media covered their deal with the assumption that -- oh, but of course! -- the wily, brilliant Trump would chew Griffin up and devour him.
Well, that's nothing new. The US media often believe whatever they want to believe. And what you've written is nothing new. For as long as I can remember, every Republican who runs for a major office has been the target of character attacks from the Left. They're all stupid, bigoted, sexist, racist, hate-filled troglodytes, so the Democrats tell us. It's really quite tiring and boring. I wish they'd come up with some new, interesting crap instead of the same old crap. But I suppose they do it because it works. It appeals to people with self-esteem issues, who see individuals who are smarter, more hard-working and more successful than they are and feel not admiration but hate and envy.
I'm not going to say what I think of Trump's politics, because we've got a politics forum for that. But since you believe Donald Trump is an idiot, I have one question for you.
When was the last time you made a billion dollars?
I believe he will be remembered as a very shortsighted idiot. Not as a poor man.
shareThat's not an answer to my question. When was the last time you made a billion dollars?
shareEdited: that's private
share> Edited: that's private
In other words, you have made a billion dollars, but you consider it a private matter and won't give details?
Sure, dude. Whatever you say. We believe you. We really do. Now go on upstairs and put on your jammies, and Mommy and Daddy will be up soon to tuck you in, give you your Thorazine, and read you a bedtime story.
A bit saddening that you're pushing sixty and comment this way. But never mind, we all have limits. Enjoy your golden years.

That's the best you can do? You're obviously a troll, but you're not even very good at it.
Trump never made billions. Trump inherited millions from his father. He has invested them poorly and would have made more if he had simply dumped them into a market index.
shareCome on dont lie now. People were suggesting he was stupid all the way back when he owned the beauty pageant.
shareI'm kinda thinking that Christopher McCandless is the Disney version of wanting to go back to nature and forget modern civilization.
Then...Ted Kaczynski (the Unabomber) is the Rick and Morty version of wanting to go back to nature. Neither one convinces me.
But, nature is truly unforgiving. Nature killed McCandless. Kaczynski thought he could rule like nature did, and get away with his crimes. Which is basically nature - no law or order.
If you think he achieved his goal you are highly mistaken. His goal was never to be remembered by a movie!
This might be the most naive comment I've read this week.
