Upsetting discoveries here..

Reading the comment section of this movie has made me realize something pretty upsetting. Apparently, despite all the efforts by researchers and psychologists to educate the public on what destroys people emotionally, there are still people out there who think stuff can compensate for love when it comes to bringing up your children.

So, if you think that it is okay for parents to create a hostile home environment as long as they pay for a car and college, then I would ask two things from you:

First, please read all major studies on what sort of upbringing creates emotional problems for people (that usually don't go away in adulthood unless treated). You can start here, for example:

Second, please please PLEASE don't have children until you have learned this. You WILL ruin their lives with this attitude.
