Basic question, who was your favorite and least favorite character?
For me, Tyra is my favorite and I can't really choose a least favorite.
So I'm interested to hear from new and old fans on your opinions.

Aside from the coach and his wife, my favorite was Vince. Least favorite was Lyla because Minka although a vision, can't act. Or Julie because she was a bratty disrespectful teen.
shareMy favorite changes a lot...probably Matt Saracen, Landry, or Tami. My least favorite is definitely Lyla. She's gorgeous, but I couldn't take the whining and that damn voice.

Same assessment on least favorite - Lyla and Julie, Lyla cuz she's smoking hot but I'd rather not listen to her speak.. ever. And Julie was the most annoying person in TV history.

Clear eyes, full hearts. Can't lose!
Ugh... too many to choose from. Here's my favorite(s) with a little reasoning as to why.
Coach - The title itself is reason enough as he was a molder of men and a hell of a family man. The way he took Matt, Tim, Smash, and Vince under his wing to get the best for them was inspiring.
Mrs. T. - No nonsense, sensible, passionate, understanding, patient, and inspiring. She handled herself with grace no matter what was thrown her way.
Matt - Dude had a heart of gold, rose to the peak of his abilities to do what was asked of him, and did right by his grandma.
Mrs. Saracen - Lorraine was great for comedic relief and her Alzheimer's really struck a nerve with me as I lost my own grandma to the disease. Still, she was a ball of laughs and pretty much stole every scene she was in. Get that lady her tiara!
Tim Riggins - Do I really need to elaborate as to why Big Tim was so great? I don't think so.
Billy Riggins - Frickin hilarious; especially in the last two seasons. Loved his baby brother, wanted to be a good father, and loved his Mindy.
Landry Clarke - Because everybody needs that one friend with the dry humor, pension for christian speed metal, and the intelligence to come up with a plan in a pinch. Also has excellent taste in couture.
Buddy Garrity - He was a son of a bitch... but he was our son of a bitch.
I may amend and add onto this list later on lol.
Now then, for the least favorites with a few reasons as to why:
Lyla Garrity - Questionable acts, holier-than-thou attitude, needy, rude.
Joe McCoy - *beep* Overbearing parent. Abusive.
Levi - Always seemed to have it out for coach.
Julie Taylor - Whiny, bratty, loud, spoiled.
Gracie Bell - Just didn't like the look of her I kid, I kid!

Just a theory, but worth pointing out, nonetheless.
Julie was a brat, probably the most hated character of all time, but I can understand them having such a character.
Tim Riggins, coach, and Smash are my faves.
Favorite:
Coach. I mean, it IS his show after all, and he's a good dad and a great coach/mentor to the kids. He even took the job at East Dillon seriously and made them a great team, and he wasn't even supposed to take it.
Matt. Good kid, period. Does right by just about everyone.
Buddy. I know, he starts out like a jerk, but he turned out great.
Least favorite:
JD McCoy. What a little ass-hat.
Julie. Whiny, needy, annoying little brat.
Joe McCoy. Tramples anyone and everyone who might get in the way of his boy being a star. And it wasn't because of the kid, it was all his own ego. Total jackass.
