I enjoyed it lol.
Don't get me wrong, this film was awful!
...But there was something very enjoyable about it.
I liked the practical effects. It reminded me of the old Guyver films. (Mutronics)
A guilty pleasure for me.
Well, if you have never seen any of the other Alien/Predator moves, and you view it as a comedy, then maybe. Being intoxicated or high might be another way, but even then I have my doubts! =P
I think the real problem is Alien and to a lesser degree Aliens were great movies, and if you compare the sequels to those two, the vast majority of them come off as utter and complete crap, with requiem being the King (of crap that is!).
Of course I've seen the originals lol.
Alien and Aliens are 2 of my favoruite films of all time.
I liked number 3 too.
The first AVP I hated, since it was completely CGI aliens.
But I watched this one, with the lowest expectations possible and I mildly enjoyed it.
I guess I didn't really see it as an Alien film.
More of a fun horror film.
