Not as bad as I remember...

Good: Finally a movie where you see the mass "outbreak" actually happening. Like seeing what probably happened at Hadley's Hope / LV-426.
Bad: The outbreak is fats because the aliens gestate and grow at a ridiculously fast time compared to the original movie.

Good: The Predator stealth effect is an improvement over the original.
Bad: The Predator seems excessively slimy.

Good: The Alien design and sound effects seems the same as in [Cameron's] Aliens.
Bad: It almost seems like they ripped sound-bytes right off the movie.

Good: PredAlien
Bad: PredAlien
Bad: PredAlien impregnates people with it's mouth-mouth? Or is it a queen PredAlien?

Good: People actually take the military weapons.
Bad: They don't take enough ammo to go with them.

Good: The Predator kicks ass.
Bad: The Predator had to know it was responding to an outbreak, but came alone.

Bad: WTF uniform was the Army chick wearing? It
Bad: National Guard responds with 2 HMMWVs and a Stryker?
Bad: Between the rain and the darkness it's hard to see what the hell is going on.
Bad: Are those kids supposed to be in high school?
Bad: Are sewer systems really open enough for bums to not only live in them, but furnish them?

Good: No holds barred on victims: preggers, kids, whatever.
Good: Predaor home world

Realistically, Aliens would kick Predators' asses so easily. They had to nerf the Aliens to make the fights fair.

How do you figure?

The Predator is larger, stronger, and arguably smarter than a human.

Just because humans have beat both species throughout multiple films doesn't mean the Predator shouldn't be able to beat the Aliens. And it's not like the Predator didn't take some beatings throughout the movie.

In fact, I think the Aliens are in some ways amped up compared to the ones from [Cameron's] Aliens. Beside the final fight with the queen, I don't remember the Aliens using their tails as a weapon like they have been in more recent movies.

They still got killed by humans in melee combat multiple times. Go watch Predator 2 and Predators if you don't believe me.

Aliens were killed by high caliber armor piercing rounds and explosives. Predators got their asses kicked by a log, a katana, a hatchet, and a pizza cutter.

In Alien, the Alien used its tail to stab Lambert. In Aliens, the Queen lifted Bishop by stabbing him in the chest with her tail.

It's pretty obvious Aliens are a lot stronger than Predators will ever be.

I don't remember actually seeing Lambert getting stabbed by the tail even in the extended cut. It actually looked more like it was just going up between her legs and maybe anally raping her. There was a lot of rape reference in that movie.

Parker got knocked on his ass when the alien whipped him with it's tail, but I've seen dogs knock people over with their tails so I'm not counting that. The alien in that movie was a lot more anthropomorphic compared to the ones in Aliens.

As for Bishop... the queen, but not the warriors, did the tail stabbing.

HAHA, I guess you win with that.
