Why not kill Paxton's gf too?
Why just kill Paxton and let his gf, (whose house he was staying at) live? He told her everything, yet they killed him and not her? I don't understand the logic behind that? Anyone care to shed some light?
shareIn the deleted scenes, it showed that Stephanie was murdered as well. After she discovers Paxton's body, she thinks that the gardener outside is the killer. She rushes to a nearby door and locks it, but when she turns around she's face to face with the assassin. He kills her with a chainsaw before leaving.
Eli Roth posted a message before the scene, explaining why it was deleted:
In the script, the assassin who kills Paxton also kills Paxton's girlfriend, played by Jordan Ladd. I love the kill, especially since my friend Jeff Rendell plays the killer, but the scene after with the messenger delivering the head to Sasha played better when we cut right from the decapitated stump. Jeff Rendell also plays the killer in "Thanksgiving."share
