Could one way to clarify the biggest distinction in the film industry be
'The Hitchcock Factor'?
I was just watching the featurette's on the Hostel Part 2 DVD and my goodness Eli Roth is such an interesting guy, it dawned on me that he is one of the peculiar ones, one of the ones that just has that signature eccentric outlook on the world that results in a true work of art germinated by their just uneveryday mentality [to which I just can't help but wonder of what kind of brain wiring this quirkiness comes from, it just struck me as some kind of different mental process (in the same sort of league as the mental difference known as 'autism' so to speak, where their minds soak up certain aspects of the world with a certain strength and energy/clarity and an ability to mold stories from it in just a way that's like an alien from another planet)], so basically film makers could be split into 2 categories, 1: The Hichcock's, and 2: The Michael Bay's, the ones that are just average people that fancy themselves as professionals in the film industry who's style is just completely flat and dull.
