Question about Todd 'spoilers'
Why did they kill him? Didnt he leave her to die JUST like Beth did to Stuart?
shareWhy did they kill him? Didnt he leave her to die JUST like Beth did to Stuart?
shareShe wasn't dying, even if he had just left her to bleed out then she wouldn't even have died.
shareno, they bandaged her up and told the people they were reselling her to she only had about half an hour to live
shareto me, it just reiterates the point that elite hunting are cold blooded killers who really play by no real rules..if they feel like killing someone, even a client, they will, despite the fact he paid for their service
shareThe cut he gave her wouldn't have killed her, which is the difference. In Stuarts case, getting your member cut off equals death in a fairly short amount of time. Todd only sliced her face and cut off some of her hair, which was enough for him to realize what he was doing and back out. She wouldn't have died from her injuries, which is why he was killed. IMO, Todd's death was one of the more gruesome, even though they don't show it, just put yourself in his shoes of being locked in an elevator with two crazed dogs ripping you to shreds.
shareI've wondered this myself. And you're right, they said she was "only available for the next 20 minutes." I took that to mean she would soon bleed to death.
share"just put yourself in his shoes of being locked in an elevator with two crazed dogs ripping you to shreds."
wait for them to both jump at you simultaneously, then smash their heads together in mid air, knocking them out
it worked for arnold in true lies... lol

i was wondering if the dog death was at all realistic, since he was completely shredded and a lot of him was eaten just by two dogs on a pretty short elevator rode
shareAgreed - that was fast. Maybe the directors wanted to impress upon the audience of the ferocious nature of the dogs.
shareNo, he was just lazy. They wanted a gory death for Todd, but didn't have time or money to sit him down in a chair. Getting eaten by even a whopping TWO dogs in about 23 seconds is the most idiotic death in the series. Having an emergency release to the elevator causing it to drop to his death would have been less sub-moronic. And would have fit in better.
shareI think the difference was that, besides her death being less life-threatening, Todd obviously felt remorse and was likely to squeal. The people would need to kill him to ensure he wouldn't go call the cops on 'em or something, yanno?
shareTodd didn't feel any remorse, he was a 100% bastard. He's just a mama's boy, insecure of his own masculinity, who needs to subdue women in order to feel himself a "macho" type; the reason for him to stop the torturing and be willing to scram was the fact it all wasn't "tasting like he thought".

They killed him for not killing Whitney. By not killing Whitney that shows he had second thoughts and is a danger to their organization because he's now a witness. He might go to the police to expose the organization, etc. They didn't kill him for leaving her to die.
shareI find it funny... Todd was talking all that smack...
being a real hard ass...
but at the first sight of blood....he turns into a complete pussy
