The one thing that made ABSOLUTELY no sense in the movie.

So Todd puts a saw to the girls face causing her to bleed profusely. He walks out of the room and says, "I'm done" but because he didn't "finish the job" they kill him.

So that brings me to my next point. The main character cuts Stuart's co*k off and then leaves the room saying, "let him bleed to death" and they let her... Why the double standard here?

Todd was a member of the Elite Hunting Club, and according to the contract, no one is allowed to leave the compound unless they killed. Todd couldn't finish the job so they killed him instead. Beth was able to convince Sasha (the owner of the club) that she was wealthy enough to redeem herself and get out of the warehouse. In doing so, Sasha told her that as per the contract, she wasnt allowed to leave unless she killed someone. Stuart made that easy by calling her a *beep* so she cut his dik off and tells the guards to let him bleed to death.

The head wound was superficial. Cutting yourself on the forehead (or anywhere on the scalp) will make it seem like a very bad wound due to the bleeding while actually not being mortal. This is actually a very old wrestling trick where the wrestler would cut himself or his opponent with a razor on the scalp to make the match seem brutal without causing any lasting damage.

On the other hand, severing a penis will in deed cause the person to bleed to death if not immidietly treated.

I agree and would like to add that severing Stewart's genitals in front of a large group of men and then feeding them to a dog proves that you're a pretty serious client at that point.

It can only be attributable to human error.

Thanks guys. I never saw the whole movie, but wondered why Todd was killed. I thought he was already a pro and he "balks" at actually killing his victim? Too bizarre!

The head wound was superficial.

I don't think so... They make a point of hinting that she only has about 20 minutes left to live, or at any rate, they say she's only on offer for the next 20 minutes. If the wound wasn't particularly serious, they could have kept her around until they got a better offer. And she also seems pretty much brain damaged.

I agree. Someone said Todd was a pro? Did I miss that? He had done this before? If that's true I find it more weird that he walked a way.

If it were his first time sure...the prettiness of the girl was gone and the reality set in and he was repulsed etc. No fun tormenting a convulsing hideous chick. But if he has done it before he would've just cut off her head or something before leaving. He seemed truly appalled.

The thing that I don't understand is didn't Todd know that he had to finish the job per the contract (that was necessary just as it was necessary for him and Stuart to get the tattoos) and therefore if he didn't kill her that he himself would get killed? I can understand him not wanting to finish the job but you would think that he would still do it because that beats him getting killed himself (and possibly tortured to death himself). He could have just asked them for a gun and then gone back into the room and shot her and then it would be over with in one second if he couldn't bear torturing her anymore.

Because he liked the idea of the power and fear being evoked in the girl he selected. But when it came to killing her i do not think he had it in him. He wasnt truly as awful as he planned on being and his humanity made him back out. When it actually hurt her he panicked. I dont believe he wouldve even hurt her tbh. He didnt seem to have it in him. It was wonderful character development. And made complete sense alot of people think they can do things before they try them.
