I think Sasha, and Axelle were related .
In a deleted scene, Sasha and Beth are having a drink and talking. And, she says cheers then he goes on about how in his family they say the word Axelle had told them meant "For your health" earlier. Sorry, I can't spell the word. And, she gives him this look. Also, when you click on that deleted scene a little paragraph comes up explaining it. Eli says that Beth learns something important about him. I thought that was awesome. Wish they would have left it in.
