Hold the phone- David brought his mistress to family dinner?!?!

I can't imagine how difficult it would be to forgive your spouse for cheating and move past it, but, I felt like Shannon was dwelling on it somewhat- until it was revealed that the woman David had the affair with actually had a relationship with David's family!!! That changes things a bit for my thought process! It wasn't only a sexual affair- David must have thought he was in love with that woman if he included her in family gatherings with his mom and sisters!
I'd kind of like to kick David Beador in the nuts right now....

I'm a bit sceptical about this story, due to the fact that Vicki heard it second hand. According to Shannon, David never even sees his family, yet he's taking his mistress to family dinners? There are also kids, old enough to understand, who are being affected by this. What would they think of this revelation? Is this actually true?

Yeah that's pretty gut wrenching and screwed up. Also it seems like David's mom treats him like a precious snowflake cause he was the only man in her life after his father left for another woman (another odd detail), so she doesn't dare criticize her son lest he leave. That also explains why she saw Shannon as a threat when they got married.

When they showed David's mother and sister walking into the room, they scared me. It looked like they were looking for someone to beat up. LOL.

This is what I don't understand. David's father did such a horrible thing by leaving his family...yet his mother wanted him to stay with his mistress? I have 2 boys, and if their father did something that horrible, I wouldn't want them to do the same thing to their wives. Why would you wish that upon someone else, just because it happened to you? Why would you want your son to end up being someone that horrible?

She is all kinds of f-ed up, that woman!

I find the group who went to the spa to be a bunch of cackling hens, finding great joy in gossiping about someone and their miseries. So low. Tamra is the worst because she shrouds herself in Christianity and then behaves like that. We know what a creep Vicki is, also Heather has always been pretentious and overbearing, a true superiority complex.

They left Shannon and Megan out, was that because it was for the ones in the crash?
